Monotypes

I began making monotypes after I was given a book of Degas' monotypes long ago. My main medium was etching at the time and that process is demanding as well as laborious. Monotypes were an invitation to be spontaneous and abandon the 'rules'. I made many miniature impressionistic landscapes, and larger abstract landscapes. Some are accented with pastel.
